Friends of ACC is a community organization whose purpose is to
increase the ability of Austin Community College to serve our community.
Founded in 2002, FOACC has played a leading role in increasing local tax support
for ACC and in encouraging neighboring areas to join the ACC District. FOACC
members also have been active in promoting discussion of ACC-related issues within
the college and the community.
Although strongly supportive of ACC's mission, FOACC is independent of ACC,
which has no responsibility for or control over items FOACC members post on this
site. Look at the extensive
ACC website for official ACC information.
Most of the information on this site is visible to any interested person.
However, only people who register as FOACC members
can submit items, append comments to them, or vote to rate site content.
Site submissions are moderated to avoid spam and to ensure compliance with
FOACC relevance and politeness rules
